You should get your startup Accelerator Ready before the programme starts.
The 13-week accelerator programme is broken down into 3 phases:
- Discover & Build – This phase forces the your startup to justify assumptions, prove market viability and build a clear proposition. This is achieved through the help of our amazing mentors – you will see anything up to approximately 10 mentors a day in the first few weeks.
- Validate & Build – This phase focuses on building your product and growing customer interest. Product launch will be achieved in this phase and the mentors’ networks used to arrange partnerships and sales opportunities.
- Invest & Grow – This phase pulls together all the elements and gets your startup investment ready. Lawyers, accountants and pitch trainers will all be brought in to ensure each team has the correct skills and materials to pitch for and receive investment. An Investment Demo Day will be held with Angels, Private Equity and Venture Capitalists.

Accelerator Activity Modules
Mentor Days -
We have over 150 mentors in our network from virtually every industry. On our mentor days you’ll experience one-to-one meetings with a series of mentors, typically seeing between 5 and 10 mentors in a day. This connects you not just to the mentor, but their network too, which means your own chance of getting that gold star introduction is vastly increased.
Build days –
This is your time to get on and build your product, have meetings and make stuff happen. We aim to schedule in a large proportion of build days so that you can put into action all the advice you’ve been receiving.
Board Meetings –
We call our formal catch ups with each team Board Meetings. Our team will catch up with each startup every 2 weeks for a sit down. This is your chance to share any challenges you are having, and for us to take an unbiased objective viewpoint of your startup’s progress. We can then either bring in other resources to help you or work through the challenges with you. In board meetings we’ll also look at your vision and strategy, and set specific measurable milestones for you to achieve before the next meeting (like 2 million new users).
One-to-one support and Office hours –
We will be around most days so you can grab us whenever you need support or need someone to bounce things off. We’ve supported over 400 startups to date, so chances are whatever challenge you’re facing, we’ll either know how to help, or we’ll know someone who can help. We’re confident that we can reach virtually anyone through our established network of connections.
Expert Sessions -
Over the course of the programme we run a series of lecture style sessions on a range of startup topics. Example sessions are; Lean methodology, pirate metrics, cold calling, startup legals, pitch techniques, UX & UI.
Drop in sessions –
Over the course of the programme we bring in experts on different subjects so you can book in with them one-to-one to discuss your teams particular issues and get specific advice. Drop in session experts can take many forms but could be on subjects such as PR, Legal, HR, Marketing, Finance etc.
Founder stories -
We invite in startup founders who have been there, done it, and got the t-shirt. This is a frank discussion about the failures and successes they have had, and it’s your opportunity to ask questions and really understand what it’s like to start, build and grow a startup.
Entrepreneur Therapy -
This is a one hour session for CEOs, CTOs & CMOs to get together, share problems with each other and collectively brainstorm solutions (usually over a drink or two!)
