Oxygen Accelerator provides pre-seed investment to allow each startup to survive the 13-week programme only.

We are looking for investors to provide seed investment into the startups upon graduation. More than 100 amazing mentors work extensively with these companies, helping them to refine their business models and strategy while introducing them to early customers and partners. At the end of each programme, Oxgyen Accelerator hosts an investor and demo day, where qualified investors can get a first look at these companies and their technologies.

Who are your current investors?

Our investors are truly global. We have a range of High Net Worths, Angel investors, Early Stage Venture Capitalists and Private Equity groups, all of whom recognise the effectiveness of pre-seed accelerator programmes and the benefits to both themselves and the teams they invest in. At the end of the 13-week programme we run a number of investment days where the selected teams will get to pitch their business to these investors for funding.

What type of investors are you looking for?

We are looking for all types of investors, from first timers to seasoned Angels, Private Equity and Venture Capital groups interested in early stage technology startups.

How much do I need to invest?

Anything from £1,000 to £1,000,000, either in a single startup or spread your risk by investing in a portfolio of startups – we will have 10 a year to choose from.

How much exposure will I get to the startup/s before investment?

If you become a mentor then you will be able to see all the startups through the 13-week programme, allowing for a comprehensive due diligence process.

Has this been done before?

Yes, there are several successful programmes which Oxygen is based upon. TechStars have been running a pre-seed accelerator programme since 2007 and publish the results of their programme at http://www.techstars.org/results/
