Oxygen Accelerator provides you with pre-seed funding to enable you to get your startup off the ground. We will accelerate your business via an intensive 13-week bootcamp, put you in touch with amazing mentors and get your business investment ready. We will then help you to pitch to potential investors for seed funding. While you are closing your investment round and gaining traction we incubate you for a further 13-weeks.

More than Money

We provide funding to help you develop your business from a great idea to an attractive investment proposition in a period of 13 weeks. On a practical level, the funds enable you to be based in Birmingham for the entire 13-week programme. The second round of funding allows those that require it to be based in Birmingham for a further 13-weeks of incubation.

What do you get?

We give you the following:

- a up to €40,000 per team in exchange for 8% -10% equity
- Amazing mentors
- Technology support (internet, hosting etc)
- Investment-ready package (legal, pitching, accountancy)
- 6 months office space

How does the €40,000 per team work?

It’s awarded in two parts:

Accelerator – You will receive up to €28,000 for the acceleration phase of the programme. €7,300 per founder (capped at €22k) plus up to €6k as a relocation allowance. Those coming from outside the UK will receive a higher relocation allowance than UK based teams.

Incubation – Teams that successfully meet criteria and complete the 13-week accelerator programme will be offered a further €12,000.
